Childcare providers may terminate their services for various reasons related to family dynamics
or circumstances. Here are some common reasons:
I am a educated Provider not a nanny or babysitter.
1. Frequent Late Pickups or Early Drop - off
● Consistently picking up a child late can disrupt the provider’s schedule and affect other
families.
2. Failure to pay fees on time or ongoing financial difficulties may lead
providers to terminate the agreement.( I won’t provide care if tuition is not
paid prior to the start date.)
3. Inappropriate Behavior
● If a parent or guardian exhibits disrespectful or abusive behavior toward staff, this can
lead to termination.
4. Failure to Follow Policies
● Not rules or guidelines, such as health and safety protocols, can be grounds for
termination.
5. Health Concerns
● If a child frequently comes to care ill or with contagious conditions, it may pose a risk to
others.
6. Lack of Communication
● Poor communication regarding the child's needs, schedules, or important information
can create challenges.
7. Changes in Family Dynamics
● Significant changes in a family, such as divorce or relocation, might lead to a
reassessment of childcare needs.
8. Disruption to Other Families
● If a child’s behavior is consistently disruptive to others and not adequately addressed,
the provider may have to consider termination.
9. Misalignment of Values● Differences in parenting philosophies or expectations may lead to a mismatch that is
difficult to reconcile.
10. Legal Issues
● If there are legal matters, such as custody disputes, that affect the child’s care, the
provider may need to terminate services.
Parents must feel comfortable prior enrolment and trust the Childcare provider
Insecure and needy and the center of attention parents ex:
Let have boundaries this is a business
Every morning asks how many kids do you have today?
Who is coming today?
What is his/she name? ( For safety and privacy of others we don’t share name)
How old is he/she?
She/He loves to be held and make sure you hold my child. ( As much as I would love to, I can’t
do it. I have others to care for as well and this is a childcare not one- one service as a private
nanny.
